Step-Free was founded to solve a problem the industry had long ignored: low-floor buses were too expensive and too limited.
Competitors charged 30–50% more than high-floor models while compromising on space, accessibility, and capacity—keeping low-floor adoption small.
We knew it could be better. By combining lightweight sandwich panels with aluminum extrusions, we built a bus that carries more passengers, reconfigures in minutes, and remains price-competitive with high-floor models—built in the USA.
